Consistent with our culture, traditions and history AHA as well its associates believe in:

Board Structure: AHA's board members are Board Chairman, Board Vice Chairman, Director of Finance, Board Secretary, Director of Membership Services, Director of Programs and Events and Director of Industry Development & Communication.

Board Functions: Representing the interests of the Association and the members by setting policies and guidelines and ensuring that the business and affairs of AHA are operated within such guidelines. This includes ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. All Board Members pledge and dedicate themselves to the accomplishment of primary functions and important personal/team attributes set below.

Enforce the Associationís mission by setting strategic direction for the Association.

Set, review, confirm and monitor the attainment of the Associationís Strategic Plans.

Enforce the Associationís bylaws, policies & procedures, and rules & regulations. <
